Leveraging Expertise for Innovative Training Product Development
Excited about this new addition to the team, Manufacturing Industry Skills Alliance CEO Sharon Robertson said they are thrilled to welcome Staggard onboard as they gear up to support workforce development for the manufacturing sector.
Robertson said Staggard’s expertise in skills solutions, training package stewardship, and product development will undoubtedly elevate their efforts.
“Her first task will be to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive workforce plan for the Australian manufacturing industry,” Robertson said.
Staggard brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as senior manager of industry partnerships with the Victorian Government Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry, and Regions. She contributed to significant projects like the Clean Economy Workforce Strategy during her tenure. She was pivotal in developing the Victorian Skill Response framework, a strategic initiative addressing critical workforce and skill shortages.
With the appointment of Rosalie Staggard, the Manufacturing Alliance is poised to chart new paths in workforce planning and training product development, paving the way for a more robust, more adaptable, and skilled workforce that will drive the manufacturing industry’s growth and prosperity in the years to come.
